We have 28 years of industry experience across multiple mobile communication technologies. WAT, Inc. is a Mobile Communications Systems Integrator that sources and supports mobile computer equipment for public safety agencies and more. Wireless Access Technologies is a full service mobile data integration VAR specializing in mobile data computer deployments incorporating over-the-air connectivity to backend networks for small to medium sized agencies. Our continued goal is to create a user-friendly environment utilizing in-vehicle integrated systems for maximum performance. We believe that mobile computing is about rugged performance in the mobile environment to access application, database and services network servers on the fly.
With the many makes, models and options to choose from, and an ever expanding task-oriented mobile computing environment, WAT helps agencies get their arms around all current and future components of their in-vehicle systems. From the mobile data terminal (MDT), to vehicle docking stations, connected devices, integrated cellular and antenna systems, WAT will make sure that all components execute at their peak.
All software and hardware product offerings undergo benchtop testing as both standalone solutions and as part(s) of an integrated system. We evaluate the IT processes (product configuration, security implementation, expandability, field serviceability…) and the effects it has on the end-user experience. In an imperfect compatibility vs. performance environment, WAT can maximize system performance ensuring a high level of ROI
